A love of adventure led Ruth to a career in travel over 20 years ago, starting out in a variety of contracting and product roles for traditional tour operators and wholesalers, including Cresta Holidays, MyTravel Group and HotelConnect, before moving into the travel tech space at eviivo.

She joined eviivo in 2011 as the company began to develop a new hospitality platform, culminating with the launch of award winning eviivo Suite a few years later.  At first, Ruth managed the Performance Management business unit, tasked with helping accommodation providers and property managers implement best practice and optimize their commercial strategy.   

Before moving to her current role as COO,  Ruth took on the role of Investors Relations and Company Secretary to the Board, as well as Organisational Development responsibilities, helping eviivo with two mergers and the operational setup of new markets, across Europe and the US, through a period of rapid international expansion. Always fascinated by the disruptive power of new technologies and their impact on the hospitality sector, Ruth believes that one needs to remain curious and vigilant in order to be able to see the bigger picture.  In the course of her career, she has helped many adopt and embrace these changes.
