Gen Z - the digital natives born between the mid-1990s and 2010s - are a bigger generational cohort than Millennials with a spending power of $44 billion (credit: PION). Following a short presentation on key stats and behavioural insights, a follow up discussion amongst operators will place Gen Z within hospitality and explore how the industry can adapt to their unique needs and preferences.

This 60-minute hackathon is designed to be a very practical 'learn by doing' introduction to novices in the use of generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.
After a short introduction, participants will work in teams using key tools to create a project brief and then turn that into a proposition supported by imagery, audio, and video assets. The teams will then share the results with the larger group and discuss the broader applicability in their role.
The session will be led by global futurist and leading AI authority Rohit Talwar.
